Betrayal

That stupid old man! He thinks he can stay on the bridge and just talk to Teeleh? How dumb can he be? I should've seen it coming though. He was interested in the histories, wanted to know more, and now he was talking to Teeleh, leader of the Shataiki. Tanis doesn't even know he's being betrayed. Teeleh is playing the victim, taking on the form of a beautiful creature to deceive people into thinking he was punished and that his water will give them knowledge and open their minds. Tanis fell right into his trap. He wanted to know more and drank the water. I watched in horror as Teeleh and his giant bat army attacked Tanis and then crossed the bridge. They left a wasteland behind them. Death followed closely behind. I knew I had to beat them back to the village and try to protect Rachelle and as many others as possible.

Kidnapping

I think I've lost it this time. What I was thinking when I kidnapped Monique de Raison, creator of the Raison Vaccine, I'm not sure. Maybe I wasn't thinking. But it was risky, especially dragging Kara into all of this. She has a life back home. If I'm right though, none of that will matter in a few short weeks. A virus will ravage the world and kill most of the population. A virus whose creator I now hold hostage. Maybe she knows that her vaccine will mutate into a virus maybe she doesn't. I just know that if the vaccine is released and heated to a certain to a certain degree, life as we know it will end. But if this information gets into the wrong hands, it'll be even worse.

Tanis said she chose me. What does that even mean? He also said I had to choose, pursue, rescue, woo, protect, and lavish her. How do I protect someone and rescue them if there's no evil or danger in the world? Well I better try this whole 'Great Romance' thing because I don't want to lose her. She is the most beautiful woman I've seen. Her long, brown hair and beautiful, her brilliant green eyes. Any man would be lucky to have her. And she chose me, out of all people she chose me. Now I must choose, pursue, protect, woo, lavish, and rescue her. I will win her over, more so than I already have.

Shots Fired

I just got shot.
No really, I was shot in the head and was knocked unconscious. Sounds crazy, I know. When I came to, I awoke in a black forest by a lake. The water was special, that I knew for certain but as soon as I touched it, it felt painful yet pleasurable. I ran from the water. As soon as I entered the forest though, giant black bats attacked me. I knew I had no I chance of escaping them. I ended up going unconscious again. As soon as I woke up, I knew it couldn't have been real, yet everything looked and felt real and the claw marks and everything were on me as well. I then thought this world, this Denver Colorado was a dream. I'm still not sure.
